Pigs in our front garden !
« on: September 13, 2012, 07:05:11 pm »
What a fantastic website, thank you for all your information, we are due to take delivery of our very first weaner gilts in a few weeks, we have been looking for a few acres for a few years local to our home with no luck, so that is it we have had Ardingly Arks set up our pig ark and we are going to be urban mini mini smallholders in our front garden!!!  The ladies will be joining our brood of chickens and vegetable garden, soooo exciting.

Looks like you'll have to evict the dogs before the pigs arrive!  ;D   Welcome to the forum.  Lots of piggy experts on here to guide you.  I'm not one of them though - I have sheep, horses, dogs and cats but I'm not allowed pigs  :(
Doing that swan thing - cool and calm on the surface but paddling like crazy beneath.

Just hoping the photo is not a piccie of the weeners you have been sold  ;D ( ripoff Britain and all that  8) )
If they are I'll take the middle and the left ones,

It is very  :excited:, don't forget the piccies for us when they arrive  :eyelashes:

I'm very jealous, our front garden couldn't house a guineapig it's that small  ::). Just post some piccies so I can ooh and aaaahhhhhh over your  new arrivals instead.
Have you forewarned your pups of their eviction?  :D

Nice ark.  Bidgiemire was the first ark company that designed the removable floor with d rings to hold the top onto the skids, as seen in this ardingly ark picture. Its nice to see our design idea taken and  working for other ark companies.
