Poultry netting
« on: September 03, 2012, 04:12:54 pm »
Just a quick question- My brief experience with poultry netting was that my large fowl just jumped/hopped/flapped out over it. Will clipping their wings stop this?

Clipping their wings will prevent them from flying/flapping over - but if they're jumping/hopping, then you'll need to raise the height of your fencing.  Not usual for large fowl to be such escape artists though - watch-out for Mr & Mrs Reynard now the nights are drawing-in  :o
Just remember, if you clip - only do the 1 wing.
