Hi, from the Tanat valley nr Llanrhaeadr ym mochnant
« on: August 18, 2012, 05:33:58 pm »
Hi all, I'm Rhian

I am not actually a small holder as I live on quite a large farm but I have my own corner of the farm where I have started keeping goats, I have 6 at the moment consisting of 1 saanen, 1 saanen x guernsey, 1 togg x saanen and a pure togg, these are all nannies, a boer x saanen whether and an anglo nubian x alpine billy. But I'm currently looking to get more.
I also keep 11 shetland sheep who have just had welsh cross shetland lambs weaned off them.

I mainly joined to see if I can find any goats friends local to the Oswestry, Welshpool, shrewsbury area as I don't know anyone else round here who keeps goats, would be great to get to know you.

Thanks for reading x

Been reading up on the goat part of the forums, most of the questions I had have been answered already so been having a good read and have learnt so much already, but I'm sure I'll have more questions. Xx
