I was fencing on Sunday and called it off in the afternoon, as i was working under trees in a thunderstorm.
Resumed on Monday and went to hitch the trailer onto the quad that had been left in the field on Sunday - and a thieving bastard had stolen the wheels!! It was actually easier to pick up the trailer and wheel it out the field which was about 200m from the gate.
As if that wasn't bad enough, i was driving in posts with my slider and it caught the line wire and it whacked me on the head - knocked me out, lots of blood but no stitches.
I dont like Mondays!!

Ouch  hubby did exactly the same with the post slider recently, lots of blood, knocked himself out and now has impressive scar on his forehead!   He tells everyone I hit him!!

Thats terrible.
Here in Ireland it seems that thefts have multiplied ten fold, mostly pikeys but could be anyone.
Quads are a big target as well as any tools/fencing materials or anything of value... even scrap.
Really don't know where it's gonna end, I'd guess its only a matter of time before another pikey gets his head blown off his shoulders like what happened in Mayo a few years ago, at least the law has changed to allow lethal force to protect oneself if required.
