Olympic park

I took these pics on Tuesday.
The wild flowers in the park were lovely.
The last pic shows the remote control mini cars that they used to pick up the discus after they have been thrown.
Life is like a bowl of cherries, mostly yummy but some dodgy bits

Great pics, lucky you getting to go.
I wasn't that bothered about the Olympics especially them being down in London but i have to say i have been absolutely glued  :excited: the last two weeks and will will really miss the excitement they've generated, can't believe that yesterday afternoon whilst making piggy teas i actually had 5-live on the radio listening to the Dressage lady winning Gold, normally the radio never veers from Radio 2.
Been a truly awesome event for GB both on and off the field of play. Looking forward to the closing ceremony on Sun night but fear will be a bit bleary eyed on Mon morning! ;D  Spice girls singing on top of London cabs i heard!

Not having a Tv means I javen't seen any of it but hear snippets on the radio.  My OH keeps me up to date with how many medals we have.
