Would this work as a duck house for about 4 ducks if I could think of a way to attach a door?

I would have thought it could get a bit hot in there for ducks with a door on, but I'll bow to the more knowledgeable.
I used a wooden dog kennel of the same style and attached a door with a straight top to allow some ventilation and used it for quite a few years until it went rotton.

Yes - we use something similar but added a door made of thick ply (couple of hinges to the left and bolt to the right).

I also made a vent in the door about the size of a letter box and covered with chicken wire (top of the door)

We house 4 Buff Orpington Ducks and they are happy and cosy in there

Hi,just about I should say.You should be able to mount some hinges on the bottom of the door frame,then have a lift up door that acts as a ramp.You can set it up on 4 bricks or blocks to keep it off the flaw.
You will need to make sure it has got plenty of vents at the back ducks can get very damp so they need a lot of ventilation.
