Monday my 9 year old spent a whole lunch break at school nagging one of the boys to be her boyfriend, today she's sprained her knee 'pretending' to fall over to get his attention, am dreading what she'll get up to tomorrow.


She's not listening to her big sister and my advice to play it cool    is this the start of romantic chaos - agh.

i got one @ 14 and one living with her boyfriend @ 18! loads of fun and games to come!

That's not reassuring me that this is just a phase     Even my 5 year old has a 'boyfriend', well 3 actually. Unbelievable

i just try to love them and help out where i can when i am needed. good stuff most of the time!

first you have he's the one I love him stage 
Then there is the swap them in once every 6 months for a new one stage
 All of this is always followed with the hart brake stage 
After 10 or 15 years of all that she will realise romance is dead, and you will be able to go back to a normal life
 Sorry I'm a cynical old cow.
Well that's how it happened for me.

Hopefully my 4 daughters will find the 'right one' when they are older, maybe they'll decide to just stick with keeping animals - its easier and less painful (at times).

India, my 7 year old came home with flowers yesterday that 3 boys had picked for her. Very sweet really
