Hi there

We purchased a small livery yard about 7 months ago and as we had previously kept chickens and I am a gardener by trade , we decided to use extra pockets of land to keep other animals and grow veg. We started off with a few chickens and now have ducks and geese (well goslings), we have also just bought 4 lambs for rearing for meat. We have already starting selling the eggs to friends and family and the local butcher will take any surplus ducks eggs and we spilt it 50/50! Our heads are bursting with all the things we would like to do but are being sensible and taking one year at a time!

Hi and welcome looking forward to hearing about your birds and as and when you get new acquisitions.  Are you running the yard as a livery yard?

We are located on the oxon/wilts border, the yard was already up and running so we have kept it on (only 4 horses), not too bad as it is DIY and the girls are very good at DIYing! :hshoe:
My daughter has her horse here too.

A very big welcome from Normandy.  It may be a miserable rainy evening but with a nice piece of pork crisping off nicely in the oven, things don't seem quite so bad here!!

Bonjour et avoir un bon jour !
