Ps needless to say if egg head is a girl you might not want to hatch any of her eggs...

Thanks for all that info - will put sponge in next time.  The Humidity was apparently 65-70%, do you think the reading may be faulty or should/could it be even higher (I have an octogon advance 20 with manual humidity control)?
Spent 30 mins making 'Egg head poo bum the first' (as it is now called) a chicken wire sided cage to go in the box...  others were curious but obiously couldnt get at her, next time I looked a few minutes later, egg head was out through the chicken wire and huddled in with rest (doh!!)!!!  She has finally stopped peeping!  Will keep close eye, but all seems well!

No - he/she lasted 20 mins in cage before popping through to join the others (must buy some smaller chicken wire!) after careful watching decided to leave things be as it had finally stopped peeping for the first time in 2 days!  Cage has gone and egg head is one of the crew - been on tenter hooks all day - every little peep peep has had me running - but all well. :fc:
