Goat lady welcome from an old gote ;)
Where are you situated in  Wales . N or S etc etc. lot's of new people have arrived on site fairly recently in these areas.

Just catching up with all the posts after a weekend at the Smallholders show.

I am situated by Lake Vyrnwy. If you look on a map and find Bala lake we are the next one down.

Hi GoatLady,

Think I might be a bit late in saying hello, but I'll do it anyway!

I live in central Scotland with my fiancée, and my mother, and a herd of 16 goats, all dairy but varying breeds as according to who they belong. On top of those 16 we have another 5 goats which belong to my sister and nieces, and the goats live with us as they don't live anyplace suitable to keep them themselves- yet anyway!

I go to most of the BGS recognised shows in Scotland and am chairperson of the Scottish Goatkeepers federation.

Hellllloooooooo from soggy Melton Mowbray, we're newbies too and have found this forum to be nothing other than friendly, helpful and nothing short of a life saver, particularly with the recent bumblefoot saga!! Look forward to hearing / seeing your antics

Hi Rose  from north Cumbria.  No goats - we're commercial beef & sheep with Jersey house cow, pigs, native ponies and a few primitive-type sheep on the side; I make dairy products for the home and have recently taken up spinning - but we all pop in and out of most of the forums so no doubt we'll meet up from time to time!  :)
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
