One thing after another.
« on: May 03, 2012, 03:37:12 pm »
My run of bad luck/accidents started just after xmas with the loss of the kidding female.  Then come spring, the tall boys (the three Franks) got giddy when turned out in the paddock.  Frank I took a run at the high fence, he cleared it with ease, but landed funny, and damaged his tendons.  His leg from the knee down was enormous, and he could not walk on it.  He is a lot better now though.

Frank 2 decided a week later than he too could jump the fence, but he caught his leg and cut it quite badly.

Then Jinty and her listeria, which happily had a good outcome.

Now we have the kids and their traumatic dis budding.

In many years of goat keeping, never had so much trouble all at once.
