Shropshire Smallholders April meeting

Thurs April 12 -A talk by the Jill and Andy Cawthray of chicken street.
Jill and Andy run a company called Chicken Street based in Whittington, Oswestry where they 'have a passion for planting and poultry', which includes naturalistic planting and rare breed poultry, from peat free hardy perennials and grasses from seeds and cuttings to bantams and large fowl, hatching eggs to point of lay education and advice.

At the meeting there will, also, be:
The Members’ Exchange time, which will include the opportunity for
any announcements about items for sale or wanted.
The raffle.
The Members’ Table, where you can sell any smallholder items.
As usual we will round off the evening with a two-course meal. There is a charge for the meal of £6.00 per person (£2.50 for child under 10 yrs of age) but, please note that booked meals have to be paid for even if you are unable to attend the meeting as an outside caterer provides the food. All bookings are important (whether you are staying for a meal or not). Guests and visitors are welcome at the meetings and there is an entrance fee of £1 & £3 respectively. Meetings are free for members.
