Spoke to the vet this morning and she wasn't surprised. Thought most likely was that the piglets had died and that had poisoned her, septicaemia presumably. Will put that down to experience and hope not to come across it again.

Oh what a bloomin' shame - so sorry.  It always seems to happen to the best ones too, doesn't it.   At least you've been given a reason for the loss which helps in a small way.
