Haynes Smallholding Manual - discounted price
« on: March 03, 2012, 07:26:49 pm »
If you know anyone who's thinking of buying a smallholding, my latest book, the Haynes Smallholding Manual (foreword by Kate Humble), may be of help. Out in April, but some online booksellers are taking advance orders at a discounted price (including Amazon).

I'll also have copies for sale at the Royal Welsh Spring Festival (formerly the Smallholder Show) in Builth Wells on May 19/20. I'll also have copies of my Haynes Pig Manual with me, too.

I'm giving a talk at the show on the Saturday afternoon about starting in smallholding, and I'll be there exhibiting my pigs all weekend. Hope to see some of you there!

Sounds superb - definitely one for the Christmas list!

Just please tell me that the various tasks are graded according to spanners, and that re-assembly is the reverse of removal?

I can't get the link to work to see how much Amazon's discounted price is, and a search on there can't find.
Could anyone please post a working link?

:)

It sounds a very good buy, prepare me for the wishful future.
Now do I buy it at the festival or order itat discount from amazon???

Thanks for your interest, everyone - this is one I've wanted to write for a long time.

Thanks very much to Dan, too, for sorting the link. For some reason, whenever I tried to insert a hyperlink to the correct page, it just came out as a load of code. Probably something to do with TAS having a link up with Amazon.
Thanks for adding me to your book store section. Can you put my other two in there as well? :)

re. the Amazon discount v buying at the show, I will be offering a discount, but doubt if I can match the Amazon deal. Big organisation v small fish! Wherever you decide to buy the book, I hope you enjoy it - and feel free to contact me for additional info about any subjects included in it (or omitted!).

All the best,
Liz
