Visiting a farm in Newburgh this morning I said I'd rehomed my cockerel and was promptly offered 3 more, various types, not sure of breeds as I don't know enough but gorgeous colours and they're available to homes or for the pot free of charge.  Will be shot otherwise I gather, they have 4 free ranging together with geese and ponies/horses and the hens are locked up, but they only want to keep one of the boys..

One is barred, one has fluffy feet and is shorter legged, the third stunning plumage, it's a dire photo but I couldn't get them to pose and have asked them if they can send me a better one if they get any.. whether they'll bother or were just asking on an offchance I'd take another boy I'm not sure but thought if anyone was looking..
