I've got a Le Creuset, second hand from my sister who was changing her kitchen colour scheme  ;D

They're very long-lasting so if you're not fussed about which colour you might well pick one up secondhand.

I have three Le Creuset saucepans that my sister gave me in exactly the same circs!  I love them to bits; you get whatever it is hot, then turn the heat off and it'll carry on cooking slowly and still be warm enough to eat nearly an hour later (and that's without being stood on a range.)

Only problem with them is they pour lefthanded - which I am not, and they are so heavy I can't manage them in my left hand.  My sister isn't lefthanded either, which has always been a bit of a mystery...  ::)

My childhood punishment for badness was to polish all the brass in the house. I never told my mother that I loved doing it.(Perhaps she knew though ;))
