I read the article on line that was in the Shetland Times and have to agree with a lot that was said. Surprised that so many miniatures are still being bred in this climate. I hope to have Shoormal Vanner go through the Stallion Assessment next year, already 5 judges have told me what a good pony he is but I still stand by on what I have said before, a stallion is only as good as the foals he produces, same with a mare. My older colt has only been shown once as a three year old as he was born on the 27th of August, he won his class and took Junior Champion. I received wonderful remarks about him and was over the moon as he is my own breeding, he will be vetted early next year once he has finished teething. Bailey my black colt who is rising 2 I will decided next year if he is to stay entire or be gelded. Long term plan for the boys, they are available for other Studs to use, all will be broken to ride and be shown under saddle. They make me very proud and I know I have done a good job when my vet said just what a wonderful well behaved pony I had.
