Pedigree shetland tup available for loan
« on: September 10, 2011, 12:18:52 am »
Bob - my lovely shetland tup is available for loan until the end of November. We are between Alyth and Glen Isla and would like someone not too far away to borrow him for a couple of months. We had 8 lovely lambs from him this year but we need to keep him away from our ewes for a short time until they are ready for mating.
Anyone interested?

Sorry I can't help this year Marigold but I would be very interested for next year, if you still have him. Got the space but my shetland's are just young at the moment - so hopefully next year

Great thanks Brucklay - let's talk next autumn - it seems to me that it is all in the timing  :sheep:

Hi Marigold - have you arranged anything for Bob yet? Change of plans - now have a couple of shetland ewes and hoping to get a few more - my plan is in the next couple of weeks the ram lambs leave, plan to rest the field for 4 weeks and tidy up ... then I would have the space for him if your interested, all the best Clare

Hi Clare
Sorry i have not replied before - i've been away and distracted. The Bob problem is as yet unresolved and it would be great to move him out for a few weeks whilst we sort out our fencing etc my telephone no is 01575 560335 if you're still interested. Maybe we could do the travel one way each?
