I've never been to one of these shows before.  Is it worthwhile going?

I haven't been for to Kirriemuir for a few years. It is useful to go along to make contact with other locals if you are in the area. They used to have goat classes there- but I don't know if they will now, not that many people to go to it with goats I think.

The next few days should bring a reasonable amount of dry weather, but there will be some rain around. Temperatures won't be anything special for the time of year, but where the sun shines it will feel pleasantly warm. It also looks as though there will be a fair amount of cloud around, although some sunny spells are expected, especially further west. As we head towards the end of the working week things look set to go downhill as an area of low pressure pushes showers and longer spells of rain east across the country. There is good agreement between the main computer models on the general theme of a quite poor weather this weekend, so confidence levels on this happening are quite high. The mixed British summer continues onwards.

Depends what you're looking for. I've never been to Kirrie but it will have the usual livestock classes, vintage tractors, craft stalls, trade stands, handicrafts and produce show. The website is www.kirriemuir-show.co.uk if you want a look.

If you decide to go, PM me and we can meet up with pikilili as well. Actually, THAT'S what the show is about  ;D
