That really made me smile.

When I was young we had a sheepdog terrier cross who would spend hours if anyone was prepared to co-operate, in fetching stones.  As we lived in an old house the "gravel" drive was made of small tufa stones so he had an endless supply, but he would take care to only bring back the one which had been thrown.

all the best
Sue

Just lovely.  Thanks for posting.   :)
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Brilliant my collie does that until he passes out from exhaustion running after the stick when you throw it. We used to use a ball but he got that excited one day we threw it he turned and set off at full pace eyes focused on the ball ran straight into a tree and knocked himself out cold, so we have now opted for sticks that don't go so far or fast.
