Congratulations on your beautiful new babies! I think those of us who have managed to find great "goat vets" should think ourselves VERY lucky as you hear of so many who treat goats as small cows or smooth sheep.
I wonder if it would be possible to create a list of personally recommended goat vets on here? Would that be breaking any rules if we just said that we had been very happy with so-and-so?  Obviously not to mention the ones that we thought were rubbish! Don't want any defamation issues do we?

I think that would be a great idea - it's difficult if you move to a new area - we went to the local vet and very nice too for the dogs, cats and I have birds of prey and the head vet knew about them and has some so that was excellent. With the goats and the sheep we use a different vet as they are more specialised in the field but it did take us 2 years to find them!!
Pygmy Goats, Shetland Sheep, Zip & Indie the Border Collies, BeeBee the cat and a wreak of a building to renovate!!
