what did you get them for in the end?

I paid £9.50 as was biding agaisnt someone who also must have wanted them, they were the 25 week old ones, so a bit high for auction, I needed them for a Welsummer cockerel that was going to be dispatched if I couldn't find any!!

Yes, the Black Orp went for a goodly sum, mind she was a good specimen, not sure what her age was, the speckledys went for a good price too, I thought about bidding for them but the price rocketed up!

we had to get some hay in and went into field to get trailer and dad got the landy stuck trying to get it out. got it out  ran few miles up road got 2 bales of hay and got back covered trailer as tractor is broken down and cannot move trailer  that easy with out it. anyway arrived the 10 mins after start with in 2 mins i got 6 fertile silkie eggs(golden) and there wernt no quail to be seen  got some hylines for £3.50pb and a mistake buy of 4  pol light sussex i thought mum wanted them mum thought i bid for myself and there you go but adds colour to the muddy pen. so anyway there was so many townies the prices went sky high so easily
