Hello from the Fens!
« on: February 17, 2011, 06:32:58 pm »

Just saying hello from the flatlands of Lincolnshire.  We live on a (small) smallholding and after trying most sorts of livestock we have eventually settled on small breeds of goats. We have  pygmies, Nigerian Dwarfs and some very cute Mini-Nubians (our latest experiment). This year we have aquired a couple of cute little pygmy billies so we are hoping for Kinder kids as well.

Looking forward to exploring the site and finding out what "proper" smallholders do. We just play at it!

Hello!

We keep  pygmy goats (amongst various other animals).  Had our first kid of the year on Friday! I like Nubians, but have never seen a mini one....in fact mine were giant sized even by Nubian standards!!
