Not sure if I'll bother with the number now - £110 to put it on retention then another £80 to transfer it onto my next car.  I could put that £200 towards the car. I don't even know where to start looking fro another car.  I just happened to be out shopping and went into a garage on the way home and spotted Zaffy.  She called out to me and we fell in love :-*  I will miss her so much.  This is stupid - how can anyone get so emotional about a bloody bit of metal! ??? ::) ::) ::)

would the repair cost more than that? Even then, it might be worth paying a bit on top if you love your car. I always get attached to mine, Annie. Even my OH is to his, it's normal!  ;) :&>

The car I have at the moment is the first one I have had without a name, my first van was a Vauxhall Rascal called Red Ken (for driving around London) I adored it and and drove till it fell to bits. Since then I have had Jimbuck the Jumbuck and Cango the Kangoo. Silliest car name goes to my step mum who named her Fiat Panda "Mrs Peek" after the Peek Frean biscuit tin it resembled. Kids at school refer to my car as "The Skip".

Prior to my current 'silver tiger' I had a 'bean tin'. It was an orange ford Ka. Brilliant car. Loved it. A lot of fun and so easy to whiz about in and park. Just why do we get so attached to our cars/give them silly names?

what this has to do with 'wet and sindy spell' escapes me?!!!

Was wet and windy the night Zaffy died - that's what caused it.  Wish I'd never bothered to take the dogs out now! Would have saved me a heap of money ::)
