My young geese last years 2010 hatch have decided that they no longer want to assosiate with my older goose!! They all lived together once the youngsters became old enough and have been fine up till now, she is a good egg laying goose but is about 4 years old, any ideas on why?? At the moment she is sleeping on her own in a spare house while they all go to bed in thier old house, and although they all free range during the day, she keeps her distance from them at all times. There are 5 youngsters (mixed, and I am no expert but I think 3 females and 2 males) and the 1 older, she did have friends of her own until the dog got out!! BAD DOG

my old goose was a bit like that, when all the youngsters grew up, she kept her distance and stayed by herself while they went on free range adventures. she seemed happy enough tho and used to come up to the back door to see us. she was here long after they were sold on.
