Feeding Lamlac to pigs
« on: April 10, 2025, 03:03:12 pm »
I have a leftover bag of Lamlac (opened but good till Oct) Advertised it but no takers. Getting some weaners in a fortnight and wondering if I can feed it to them (made up as milk of course).

I don't know the answer but my gut feel would be "probably".  As with any new feed, especially a diary one, introduce it slowly, maybe make it up a bit weaker than you'd feed it to lambs?

Others may have more qualified responses...
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
