Er, fair enough, but would anybody care to enlighten somebody who's never been to a potato day before?  :dunce:

Is there a category for "Potato that looks most like Winston Churchill"?  If not, there definitely should be!! ;)

It's a sale of seed potatoes - often rare and traditional varieties and sellers will usually let you buy one or two to try rather than a big net.

I'll hopefully get along to it and get some. I harvested (and ate all of) the heritage potatoes I grew this year.

Hi
I am delighted to hear that Dunblane Potato day is 12th March. I never miss it!
Except last year.. they fooled me, it was in February and I had not yet looked for the info.
I will look forward to getting some 'Mayan Gold' if there are any available. Again I could
not get them last year. They are quite amazing and different from other potatoes.
I am about
70% self sufficient in tatties from end of June until my maincrops run out about end of February
and I switch to longrain rice and lentils!
