Walking along the pavement, I got sprayed by a snow plough.

"Bastard" I said, through gritted teeth. ;D

You certainly don't live in Fife   :D

Last reported sighting of a gritter was 3 weeks ago before all this white stuff appeared

fife's latest scam - they are sending gritters out onto the roads to drive around looking busy, on the trips to and from school we counted 6 gritters doing this, driving over a white road doing nowt

Yep, read about that yesterday   :-\

Strangely enough, the B road from Glenrothes to Kennoway is black, but the roads all around my way are still white & slushy .... where's the sense of that   ??? ???

Perhaps someone on the local council lives on or near that road????

Or would that be too cynical?

I see Lanarkshire Council have called out the army too, following in the footsteps of the Capital!

Not cynical true  ;D

They havn't even done our school buss route, so stagecoach refuse to send out our bus, and the only "Help" they can give us is to walk to the next bus stop (5miles away) and get the parallel school bus, so we have had to get driven in  >:(

It's to ensure that any visitors to Kennoway have an escape route.;)

well i have to laugh at one arsehole blaming another arsehole  (and thats just the head honchos )for the state of the roads and pavements not one mention of amey or bear who get paid to maintain the trunk routes that  ground to a halt   i was in Glasgow yesterday clearing snow what they had was minuscule compared to what has fallen in falkirk and bathgate and it was the wrong type soft and like ball bearings the car drivers should be educated on driving on ice and snow the amount of tossers sitting at traffic lights spinning there wheels in first gear going nowhere at an awful speed it was pure heaven passing them on the left also the east kilbride express way  slow way more like with Mrs murchie doing 10mph in her BMW x5 the a8 was another smile factor first time on the outsidelane with a jcb and still being held up with drivers having a slight  shougle and shitting their pants  on the approach to harthill i even passed a teleporter and three cars never to be seen again and the funny thing was they were not offering me two fingers of gin as they would normally if i was holding them up and don't think it was lillian it was her tutor getting paid  for it into the bargain pure dead brilliant :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
