at what age do you start to clip a kids hooves?

I clip when they need it and as young as possible so they get used to it being done - if I have time more often instead of waiting till they need done and can't manage for some reason so what I mean is about 8 weeks / 12 weeks (but a little trim) then every 8 weeks unless I notice someone needs done - I have more of an on demand program than timetables - hope I've not completely confused the issue - and again do dairy grow quicker or slower than pygmy - not sure on that score - maybe I should stop posting and leave to more knowledgable keepers!!
Pygmy Goats, Shetland Sheep, Zip & Indie the Border Collies, BeeBee the cat and a wreak of a building to renovate!!

I would normally start about 8 weeks of age roughly. They don't grow that much to begin with- and its really easy to trim kids feet compared to adult goats. The only thing they can wriggle more!
