Planning permission
« on: January 22, 2022, 08:58:11 pm »
Good evening

As previously stated in our intro
We have a 2.5 acre field and plan to have Alpacs chickens and a Polly tunnel
This will involve erecting two sheds
Both about
3 meters in height
and each with a floor area of 25m2
Neither will need foundations
Our question is
Will we need to inform planners

Yes, height of the structure and floor area are both an issue for the sheds. If they are temporary structures though it's probably worth applying for.

There is aggricultural PD which allows the construction of sheds etc. But I believe you need to have something like 12 acres for this to apply

your polytunnel will also need planning
Linda

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.
