Please does anyone in the Axminster area (East Devon) have a good shearer? Unfortunately the chap that has done mine for years has now stopped. Very small number - 4! Thank you

You could contact Michael Churchouse.  He blade shears and is now based near Crediton.  He is super lovely with the sheep - and their owners!  You can find him on Facebook.  People in Devon Smallholders (DASH's presence on FB) also recommend John Caunter.

Thank you so much for your reply. Do you know if Michael Churchhouse comes this far and also, is Jonh Counter based in Shebear by any chance?

Sorry, don't know any more about John Caunter but you can find him through Devon Smallholders on FB.

I would think Michael would come to you, you're in the same county and I am pretty sure he goes out into Somerset and Dorset as well as coming across into Cornwall.   But you will need to ask him.  He also keeps an eye on Devon Smallholders.

Thank you. I'll try Michael first as he's a bit closer!
