Get lots of pot eggs and put them in the coop and nest boxes. They will knock themselves silly trying to get into them and that breaks the habbit- they remember the headache I suppose.

We've just dealt with the same problem in this manner. Starts when an egg gets broken and leads on from there, so collect the eggs regularly during the day to keep the nest boxes free.

We popped lemons in the nest boxes and found that it cured the problem very quickly.

Also remove eggs as regularly as possible during the day ..... especially at the moment when they're confined to their barracks!

Or get rollaway nest boxes (it might not be practical or coś wffective though)
Growing loads of fruits and vegetables! Raising dairy goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits on 1/2 acre in the middle of the city of Leicester, using permaculture methods.
