Hi,
where abouts are you?
What's a rose comb?  I have a few RIR cockerals that were destined for the table - I've got one that's 21 weeks old, and another that's up and coming that's 10 weeks,
Cheers,

The Captain

I live in the kingdom of Fife, The rose comb is a solid broad nearly flat on top low fleshy comb that terminated in a well developed tapering spike as in Hamburgs. Rosecombs, Wyandottes etc. most R I R have a singe comb usually standing proud with serrations as in Sussex, Scots Greys, Welsummers etc. hope that helps cheers.
