Aw!  More lovely sheep Andy - I believe their wool is good too.  How many have you got now? Hope you are geared up for lambing time 'cos you're going to be busy.

Oh I do love shetland colours - am being drawn back to them time and time again so I reckon maybe I should just give in and try a few.

When's a good time to buy?  After safe lambing or are prices much lower this time of year or just whenever you see an ad?

I only "need" wethers but so far I have bred every kind of animal I've ever owned bar dogs (and that was as a kid!) so I can't help thinking a ewe with twin lambs might be a nice little family.. just in case ;)

nice colours. funnily enough coloured shetland wool is worth  a lot more than white wool at the moment. your just started with the colours there are a lot of very intresting ones. ive notice the coloured ones are making a comeback.

The only problem Ive had with my Shetland coloured ones is that I get TOO fond of them as individuals....all the coloured ones so far escaped the abbatoir. So although I find it very dull with a white ram, it is less traumatic.... and the ram now has 3 companions, I really cant justify any more!

But I do love the coloured ones.
