Help please

Hi
Im very worried about Austin, one of our Golden Guernsey boys.
I was doing his hooves today, struggling as usual, and something must have happened as he has been very sick since.
Symptoms:
Struggling to stand, lack of balance. Seems to be falling forwards.
Seems unaware of surroundings - walking straight in to / through things.
Cant get up if laid down.
Very jumpy.
Much reduced appetite, spending much time snuffling food instead of eating it.
Seems to be in a trance.

On the plus side, he is bleating so has some energy, and is on his feet mostly. Also taking a little hay etc.

When doing his hooves, he somehow got a front leg under a log - Im wondering if it is sprained, twisted or worse. I also had to put him on his side which I have never done before. Could this have injured him internally?
My best guess is he is in shock and due to a problem with a leg / pelvis / etc... but im really worried about him and dont know what I can do to check without causing him more problems.
Typically, its Saturday night too - never any issues when the vets are open!!
Any advice gratefully received

Many thanks

Sounds like transit tetany - sudden onset of hypocalcaemia caused by stress. I would get the vet out asap - Saturday night or not. If the vet agrees - then Calciject preferably directly into the vein.

Or ccn - thiamine/vitamin b1 deficiency.
Hope you got the vet out and he is feeling better.
