Is there an easy way to do this??    I spent ages tonight delousing my six girls, having spotted some lice on one of them.

A couple of my chickens give in gracefully, but the others are a nightmare! After a "Rocky Balboa" sweat-inducing performance, sprinting round trying to catch the wee buggers, they squawked and freaked as if I was Mr Daddy Of All Foxes come to eat them!  Much flapping and panicking - I thought they would die of fright.  Meanwhile I inhaled vast quantities of white powder which I suspect is not great for the health.

How do others manage it?

Do it when they are roosting, just sprinkle the powder over them, and wear one of those masks builders/doctors/vets etc wear whilst working in infectious or dangerous situations.

 my tip is do everything after dark, wing clipping, mite spraying,  de lousing,   gives them less time to prepare and to sleepy to fight

Agree with Cameron, do it at night, they are more docile (usually), I hold mine upside down by its feet and dust from above this gets under the wings and i dust the vent area too.
