How to move 1 or 2 sheep?
« on: July 08, 2017, 11:25:19 am »
I currently use a wheelbarrow but that's really hard work and takes ages and I have to immobilise the sheep and I definitely can't move 2 at a time.

What do people do?

Not sure what you mean? Do you mean what type of transport? We have a small trailer. If we didn't have a small trailer we would have to use our big trailer.  :roflanim:

Sorry, having issues with font size.  Something went wrong when I copy/pasted.  First line of original post is:

This is for when I'm moving from paddock to barn when the sheep can't walk herself for whatever reason.  I've been looking at motorised wheelbarrows but haven't found one for sheep.  We have an old landrover but I can't lift a ewe into the back.  Small trailer would work but is expensive.

Mono wheelbarrow with the sheep on her back for us.  I hobble her if she still has enough get and go to do just that.

quad and trailer ....   not sure why you would need to move 2 who couldn't walk ( generally only one dead at a time!)

Linda

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.

Its not that I don't want a quad and trailer ... its just that its a bit of a leap from the wheelbarrow ...
