After the awful week we have had there have been 2 highlights, one is mum and dad's 25th which we don't really celebrate but feel happy about anyway  Another is that dad has finally gotten a date for his operation Jan 19th, so really excited. Although we will be slap, bang in the middle of calving, still a date is a date and it is a less busy time than the rest of the year. Also beginning of feb there will be a new addition to the family, in the form of a red welsh puppy, to replace our old dog in a few years
