Brr....icy wnd
« on: May 27, 2010, 12:36:39 pm »
my new chicks are being sensible and staying under the bantam.  Such a contrast from the others arriving in a heatwave. Its really cold today - blowing a gale in fact.

It's not too bad here today, but it's showery.

I'm building a makeshift coop today out of the wood i have lying around & was wanting it sealed, but rain stopped play for the time being, so little chance of getting that done with the coop wet.

Roll on the summer   ???

We had a horrendous rainstorm here in the Wee County this evening, but thankfully no snow or hail.

Well, I wanted rain, we have had none for weeks, and the ground was cracking up!!  Plus the hay fields were not growing. Well, it started to rain yesterday, and its been raining on and off, quite warm now though.  But I am still not happy, the wet grass as I walk down the field is soaking my trousers through!!!

Want it to stop raining now, please.  At least its warmed up which is something!!
