That sounds very useful, pity our area is so full of steep hills!!!
I keep seeing people coming from the allotment in the village. They seem to use a wheelbarrow for going back and forth with their bits and pieces. I like to see people using other modes of transport than the car.
The man who used to own our little driving pony, used to take him into a busy town to the supermarket and tie him up to the trolley park. Had a lovely little cart, with a flat bit at the back, all fenced in for his shopping and his two collie dogs. Just need a lot of nerve to drive the pony among the busy traffic. The amazing thing was, this man had no idea about carriage driving, just got on and off they went .......
My friend used to take her pony and cart to school to drop her kids off. It was a rural area, so a nice drive there. She got a letter from the school asking that she did not park/turn her horse round in the school gateway. Yet, it was fine for all the other mums to park their big 4x4 cars there, and block the way.
