Health inspection query
« on: July 08, 2016, 07:28:35 pm »
Hi all

The holding where my ewe lambs are on tack is having a health inspection next week. They have sheep of their own and their own records.   I wondered if anyone knows whether they will need to have records of my sheep too (which are all here not there)

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.

Might be worth them asking the question before the inspection.  If you continue to be the Keeper and are checking them every day and maintaining your own vetmed records then provided they have the AML1 to cover your sheep coming onto their holding I wouldn't have thought your sheep could be counted as their responsibility.  That's only a guess, though, which is why I suggest asking the question.   It may depends how much of a "job's worth" the inspector is.
