I have a hen who has been sat for two days now, is it too early to put eggs under her?
She hatched a batch of ducks for me last year and she was a very good mother, but I can't remember how long I let her sit before I decided she could definitely have some.

Is she really viscious if you put a hand near her? If so I would stick some fertile eggs (or day old chicks) under her.

If she's where you want her to brood the chicks you could try.  I shift mine to a broody coop once they peck me and leave them for two days then set them on eggs if they're still stuck firm by the third night.
