giving it a miss this year :-(

Boo hiss

it's may - and not a thing is planted - well, the strawberries, rhubarb, rasps and brambles which have been in for a hile are in, but other than my garlic, nothing else is planted

I've not even got my beds built and prep'd for this year

the late frosts and cold gave me hope that i'd have time to catch up and get ready, but i'm not gonna be able to get anything done in may, so i'm gonna give the planting a miss this year - just as well i've started a fruit and veg business so I can get a good supply!

still, i''ve plans to get my polytunnels built over the summer and maybe i'll be better prepared for next season

also, hope to have the chooks in ths year (but i said that last year!!)

just too much going on these days!!

We've not done much either, with moving. Early spuds in pots and tomatoes, beans and peas in the greenhouse, Still hoping we might get somesowing done after the 14th though.

today was actually my 1st day off in 3 months, i managed to plant a few clematis, some bushes and a few window boxes - the front of the house needed brightening up

also cut the grass too

i've got next weekend off - maybe i will get something in, but it's way down the list of things to be seen to!!

Dont worry about it, I havent even got the ground weed free yet but when I do Ill buy plug plants and get a crop.  ;D

Some seeds I sow direct in May or June such as pumpkin and squosh, sweetcorn or anything that likes the sun

I have just got a few seeds planted, well Jess has and she picked them all! not bad for a 3 year old. ' I want some peas daddy & green beans, but not tomatoes they are 'sgusting!'  tomatoes are my favourites so i have planted them and said they are surprise plants and we will have to see what fruit they bear!

Sunflowers next
