Am i Being Soppy???

Right the first 3 pigs are going to slaughter :o MOnday morning, any ideas as a final good feed for Sunday morning, or am i getting too attached to them?????????? :pig:

It's difficult not getting attached to them. 

I give mine just their usual food the day before.  Then on the day a few pieces of apple (their favourite) to tempt them into the trailer.

I can't remember who it is, but I think someone on here gives them some beer the night before....Now that's a nice treat  :)

Yes thats me!! ;D  Breakfast as usual the day before, teatime they have half the amount of feed and a can of beer each, they love it! then in the morning just enough in a bucket to get them loaded, at the abattoir they get a goodbye scratch and rub, and off I go! Of course you get attached, but it does get easier, good luck.

I have gone more soppy as I have got older.  Having grown up in  a farming environment, its been second nature for me from an early age watching animals go for slaughter.  But I have now got to the point where I am verging on becoming a vegetarian, rather than even think about where the meat came from!!!!!
