Bad year for black fly?
« on: June 03, 2016, 05:38:11 pm »
When I was tying up my broad beans today, I couldn't help noticing the complete absence of black fly. During the relatively mild winter ladybirds were everywhere in these parts which I suspect is the reason. Is it the same elsewhere?

No black fly here yet, but my broad beans are still quite small, I was late getting seeds into the ground!
