I eat stewed apple, usually an eating
apple stewed as they're the sweetest. Also as someone suggested dry toast. If it is a bug in the stomach when coming off a starve dry toast is the best; no milky products at all or the bug could come back. If however it is just a virus and not a stomach bug yoghurt is very soothing and nourishing. You could also try it with the stewed apple if you like. I agree about a light soup or broth, very nourishing and helps you regain your strength.
