need a leisure battery   . been quoted £55 with vat is this about right thanks

I would think that's a pretty good price.  I bought mine from www.molevalleyfarmers.co.uk and was a bit more expensive.  You could have a look there just to compare.

What size battery is also important - They come in ampere hours shown as Ah - so the battery should be marked 80Ah or 85Ah etc.  Bigger the number the longer the battery will last and the more it will cost.

Also check any guarantees on battery - should come with 2 year warranty

You also want to see how many cycles they are guaranteed for - ie how many times you can charge them up.

Rough rule of thumb for a good battery -about a £.75 per Ah at the moment

thanks for replys     . since this morning   two people were i been working  have offerd me free new batteries   must be my lucky day
