I've got access to calli trimmings and rejected (for cosmetic people feeding reasons) cabbages / cabbage trimmings, from a local veg wholesalers (they buy in veg by the lorry load, sort and grade and "dress" it, then sell it on to green grocers.

They have all the paperwork in place, and are happy to give it away rather than have it sent for composting which they have to pay for.

I've tried offering it up to the sheep, but for some reason they're rejecting it at the moment - I have no experience of feeding brassicas to my sheep before, other than a few times grazing fodder rape.

Is this something they only eat when they're desperate or have nothing else, or do they just take time to adjust? Or could they simply not be interested as they have grass infront of them a plenty?

Probably get used to it in time I keep a couple of rams at an old folks home and the cook gives them peelings form the turnips which is a wee treat especially in the winter. What about a couple of pigs.

Sound fussy to me I have given cabbage from my veg garden to the sheep that had gone to seed or was grown with no heart and they went mad for it

Probabbly should of said, it was a mixed bunch of Hebs, Texels, Texel X's Castlemilks and a few swaeldales, Id expect the hebs and swales to turn their nose up, but the texels should of breathed it in.

Most sheep are conservative in their tastes until they discover it is edible.  A mechanism to guard against poisoning.  The only exception is if they escape into a neighbours imaculate garden, when they become hooligans in a sweet shop.

Hi I haven't tried cauli greens but tried the ewes with pea hulm and they weren't sure, tried the ram and whether and they loved them . When I went to pick up from the ewes to give to the boys, it was gone !! The boys loved the runner bean hulms as well but have left the stringy stems.    oh for some more goats, they loved everything including plums , they even spat out the stone !!!!

may just leave a heap under the hay feeder then with hay in and see if they get a taste for it - shame to waste it, as its a bloody good food source and its free!
