How do i catch a stoat
« on: April 05, 2010, 10:56:09 am »
HI all

i have a friend who has a problem with a stoat killing her birds,so far it has taken 9 over a period of 2 months she has set traps but the stoat is to clever the sad thing is although it kills the bird it doesnt eat it just takes of the head?

I would appreciate any help from any of u good people she is at her wits end and still has about 40 birds -  choocks and ducks although stoaty hasnt tried duck yet but its only a matter of time, i can say that the stoat aint following the fence line at her place so does this make it easier or harder?
look forward to hearing from you:)
John
