Chicken coops

Hi. We are looking to keep a few chickens and think the green frog coop will be the best for us. However, as it's a first time venture we would like to buy one second hand. Other than eBay, gumtree, preloved, can anyone advise where you can get them from please?

When I was looking at green frog ones, I did not find many on the second hand market.  The few I did watch on ebay went for such a high price that it was only a few pounds more to buy new from GF.

I suspect if you did buy new and it was not for you it would be easy enough to pass it on without much loss.

wow more expensive stuff along the lines of the eglu.

Why not by a plastic bike shed/small garden shed. the garden sheds have shelf brackets molded in so you could screw in perches, etc...
Darn sight cheaper. we got a 7x9' one for £150 at the weekend

Garden shed can be a good option to start with.  If you don't take to poultry keeping you still have a handy shed.
